WHIPPOOR-WONT

As many are, i'm getting Fed Up with the state of social medias and want to make something a little more stable and personalized to be my home base so to speak. That said, the extent of my coding experience up until now was formatting text and posting images onto a silly digital pet forum when I was like 8 and I for some reason chose to build this thing from scratch. If anything appears broken please let me know!

My current to do list ...

• Generally flesh everything out. I have to write the "about me" and figure out what will go here by default when the site is less of a mess.
• Set up the gallery. I think I'll either have to find a non-sketchy external place to host my art (extremely dubious given the state of Everything, I'd rather do it myself) or add more space here and host everything myself. I'll need to reasonably compress all my art that I want up here, too. I'd love to have some kind of "click for full size" functionality but... We'll See lmao.
• Set up the characters page. I'll need to make some character icons for everyone, and then maybe figure out something like tabs so when you click it reveals information? Or I can do something more straightforward, like entries for each character. I'd have these divided by setting, too, most likely.
• Make and collect some fun graphics. This site is very barebones.
• Go out and find more sites- I want to make connections and find inspiration! Maybe get advice! I dunno what i'm doing here At All
• Seriously I need to make something Other than the trigun gun baby floating in the corner of every page, he's there as a placeholder bc it was my best small image with a transparent background.
• Guestbook? A way to organize journal entries? MORE pages? A more interesting layout? this is all certainly for another time.
